Kirk, Spock, & Chekov come back for one last time in this very well done Star Trek DirecTV commercial. Some nice CGI was used here.

    Shatner was the only one they brought back, the other two were stock footage from the movie

    It was just William Shatner who is the newest element to this commercial. The rest is footage from TUC.

    The description is wrong! – There’s not a single bit of CGI in that clip – the SFX-Scenes are all taken from Star Trek VI and were done with miniature models…

    Kirk was made to look younger/thinner with CGI, I saw the making of it, and the company who did it. And I never said the Exterior shots were done with CGI.
